d.light is honored to be a finalist for the Earthshot Prize 2024 for its work in delivering clean, affordable energy to millions across rural Africa. The Earthshot Prize, founded by Prince William and The Royal Foundation, recognizes innovative solutions to repair and protect the planet.

NationSwell and Toyota teamed up to find innovators who are rejecting old rules, creating change and protecting the planet. d.light was selected as the First Place Prize Winner in the 2019 Vehicles of Change Contest.

d.light received the highest honor, taking home the Elite Rising Star award at the 21st Century Icon Awards 2018. This award acknowledges private businesses that have demonstrated significant growth and genuine innovation in order to achieve their ambitious goals.

Supported by the Clean Energy Ministerial, the Global LEAP Awards is an international competition that identifies and promotes the world’s best, most energy-efficient off-grid appliances. d.light won first place in the medium sized television category for our ultra-efficient (9W) 19" TV.

d.light was honored as a Silver Stevie Winner in the Energy Industry Innovation of the Year category for the d.light A1.

The d.light A1 was announced as the winner of sendea's Solar Lantern Competition 2016. Over 40 solar lanterns were evaluated by users across 30+ countries and the d.light A1.
