The d.light Improved Cooking Project in Kenya distributes energy-efficient cookstoves to replace traditional stoves using non-renewable biomass like wood. These stoves reduce fuel consumption, emissions, and indoor air pollution, mitigating environmental and health issues. Carbon finance helps make the clean cookstoves more affordable, addressing cost barriers for households and communities.
